This was followed by the presidential address given by the president of Indian Prosthodontic Society, Kerala state branch Dr. K.P Cherian and a speech was also delivered by the former National secretary Indian Prosthodontic Society and current Indian Prosthodontic Society, Kerala state branch secretary, Dr.Rupesh P.L. There were many distinguished guests invited to this event, Dr. Antony Manavalan, a pioneer prosthodontist from Thrissur and currently the senior most prosthodontist of the state and Dr. Lylajam, the Head of Dept. of prosthodontics, Government Dental College, Thrissur, who currently is the senior most lady prosthodontist of the state, HODs, faculty and students from Zone 2 colleges.The Chairman of Royal Dental College trust, Mr.Kallayil Saidu Haji, was the chief guest of the day and the eminent guests were honored and given token of appreciation. the program ended with a vote of thanks given by Dr. Shajahan PA, professor, Dept of Prosthdontics, royal dental college. The launch of outreach program started with the inauguration of the patient awareness program by Dr. Cherian KP and Dr. Rupesh PL, after which, a patient awareness talk was given by Dr. Sowmya on prosthodontics and the different treatment modalities it involves.
