Rules and Regulations

       GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. Students are wholly responsible for their personal belongings. They are strictly forbidden from wearing mostly Jewels and the management takes no responsibility for the loss.
  2. The institution takes sole responsibility for the students within the school premises, but not for any outward incident beyond their control.
  3. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, late coming disobedience and disrespect towards members of the staff or bad moral influence justify dismissals. Students are responsible to the school authorities or their conduct both inside and outside the school.

                                   Using indecent language is an offence against public decency and students using indecent language will be                   immediately suspended from the school for a week. Such students will not be allowed to participate in any extra                                 curricular activity. They will not be eligible for any award.

  1. Mobile phone, Story book, news papers cassettes, floppies, cameras, CD-ROM cassettes, or periodicals should not be brought to school without the consent of the school authorities.
  2. Students should take care of the school property. They are strictly forbidden to write or scratch on the school walls, furniture, smart board, black board and library books. Waste papers, peels and seeds of fruits must be thrown in the waste bins provided. Student who damage school property must replace the damage.
  1. Fees once remitted will not be refunded on any ground. All fees must be paid on time. After the due date the defaulters will not be admitted in class.
  2. Courtesy, righteousness and goodness are to be consummated by the parents and teachers in harmony.
  3. No collection for any purpose, whatsoever is to be made without the approval of the principal.
  4. Students must help to keep the school premises clean and tidy.
  5. Students are expected to participate in all activities of the school.
  6. Parents are expected to take careful note of the communication of teachers in the pages of the school calendar.
  7. Each and every pupil should endeavor to keep up the high tone of the school by excelling in character, good manners and Department.
  8. The students are forbidden to enter other classes.
  9. When students move along the corridors or when changing class, they must walk in silence and in single line always.
  10. Forging parent’s signature of altering marks and grades will be viewed seriously.
  11. Student must be modest in their dress code even on special occasions. Sleeveless or transparent dress is not permitted.
  1. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and all other personal belongings. They should cover their text books/note books neatly, with lables and names. If the covers are torn or dirty, they must be replaced immediately.  The class teacher has the right to hand over any soiled books, Notes to the Principal, who may discard it.
  1. Students are not allowed to buy eatable from outside the school campus or from any vendor during school hours.
  2. As the medium of Instruction in school is English students must speak English within the school campus, except during language classes.
  1. Students should compulsorily take part in Co-curricular and extra Curricular activities that may require students to come before / after outside school hours. Any exemptions will warrant a proper letter to the Principal.
  2. Students should take care of the school property. Damage done by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or principal and the damage will be repaired by the one who has caused it. If the Person involved in mischief is not identified, the whole class is accountable and liable for punishment or fine.

 

     TRANSFER

  • A handwritten application by the parent should be submitted for the Transfer Certificate. It shall not be issued unless all the fees due for the term in which the pupil last attended have been remitted.
  • Prior written notice before a week is required for the withdrawal of a student.

      FEE REMITTANCE

  • School fees are collected in three terms from June to May. Fees should be paid on time. The defaulters will not be admitted to the class.
  • Promotion will be withheld if any fee due to the school are not remitted. The previous fee receipt must be presented each time to avoid confusion and loss of time.
  • The names of the pupils failing to pay the fees by the last working day of the installment shall be removed from the school and struck of the rolls. If re-admitted they shall pay a readmission fee for Rs. 100/- together with the fees and fine due.
  • Every pupil, whether already in rolls are newly admitted shall be liable to pay all term fees irrespective of the date of enrollment. If anyone leaves the school in the middle of a term he / she shall have no right to claim remission of any portion of the fees paid. No transfer certificate shall be granted unless all the fee due is laid.

 

      SCHOOL FEES

         The fees can be paid annually or in three installments in the school office.

  • I Term As mentioned in the promotion Card
  • II Term on or before 15th October
  • III Term on or before 15th January

     SCHOOL UNIFORM

               All pupils must come in full uniform to school. The uniform should be clean, starched and ironed without wrinkles. It                 should  be worn on all working days and on school functions.

 

     DRESS REGULATIONS

                  Parents are requested to have the uniform of their ward stitched strictly as per the rules and norms of the school. Any           violation in the pattern of the uniform worn shall warrant the need for a new uniform to be stitched.

 

         GIRLS

  • All girl students shall adhere to dressing modestly in their uniforms. The uniform should be immaculately tailored, freshly laundered. Short pinafores, out-grown uniforms, ill fitted, faded or torn uniforms shall not be worn to school.
  • Gold Jewellery, trinkets, hanging ear rings, fancy bangles, nail polish, make-up, fancy shoes/ sandals / chappals, mehendhi, growing long nails are prohibited in school.
  • Long hair should be plaited in two plaits tied with clean ribbon over the shoulder. Hair of shoulder length should be tied with a ribbon. Hair up to the nape of the neck may be left loose.

    LKG to Std III : Girls must have ’’Trimmed Hair” (Bob Cut).

 

      BOYS

  •  Freshly laundered uniforms, well polished shoes, clean socks long with the supplied badges and tags should be worn to school everyday.
  • Trousers should be loose and pleated. Pleat less and low hipped pants are not allowed.
  •  Shirt Collars, Pockets & Sleeves should be of the uniform pattern.
  • Only oxford pattern shoe is allowed. (No Nike shoes/other fancy shoes should not be worn)

 

         PUNCTUALITY

  1. Please make it a habit to be 5 minutes before time for any activity. Tardiness will be strictly dealt with
  2. Coming late to class / activity will be dealt with, by the concerned teacher, with a note to the parent, Repeaterswill be severely dealt with
  1. The parent is expected to support the school when disciplinary action is taken.
  2. No student is permitted to ride / drive a vehicle.

       ATTENDANCE

  1. Students must obtain 100% attendance during the academic year. Great importance is given to achievement of this goal and in this respect we expect full support and co-operation from taking leave for various ceremonies Parents arerequested to seek leave for their children only on unavoidable circumstances.
  1. The student absenting herself from school for fifteen working days without notice will be marked “Left”. she will have to be re-admitted.
  1. A student absenting herself from school for 3 days continuously on medical grounds will be asked to produce a medical certificate on her return.
  1. No student shall absent herself without obtaining leave previously.

 

        LUNCH

  • Pupils while having lunch in the school are requested to avoid soiling and staining their surroundings. They are personally responsible for the cleanliness of the area they use. No refuse may be left behind for the school attendant to clean, but all remain should be placed by the pupils themselves in the waste bins.
  • Parents are the escorts who come with the pupils are requested not to enter the class room or verandahs. They are also requested to leave the school premises as soon as the bell for the commencement of the classes is rung.
  • “Students should use the sink to wash their hands.
  • Monday – Sprout
  • Tuesday – a Fruit
  • Wednesday – Veg Salat
  • Thursday – Cereal Puttu
  • Friday – Any home made snacks
  • Vegetable is a must in every day’s lunch and a fruit for the break time.

 

        LIBRARY RULES

  • Library is the center of learning, laws die but books never.
  • All students and staff are members of the library.
  • Students are allowed to borrow one book at a time and retain it for a period of one week. The Librarian may call for a book borrowed by any member even before the expiry or the normal period of a week. Reference books cannot be taken out of the library. Borrowers are requested to examine the books at the time of borrowing and report to the librarian regarding any damage, loss of pages, pictures etc.,
  • Borrowers shall not pass on the books to others. Books borrowed shall be kept neatly. No marking, underlining or damage to the book is allowed.
  • Books, which are lost, damaged or wrongly handled, will have to be paid for of replaced. The discretion of the principal in this matter will be final. Strict silence should be observed in the library. No writing material is allowed inside the library.

 

       EXAMINATION

      * INSTRUCTION AND DISCIPLINE NORMS

      * FOR STUDENTS DURING THE EXAMS/TESTS

  • Strict silence should be observed in the Examination Hall.
  • All articles like books, bags etc., should be kept in front of the class rooms before the examination.
  • Any student who does not respond to the instructions will be dealt with as per the rules and regulations of the school as given in this diary and as per oral instructions given from time to time.
  • All should bring the necessary requirements for the examination such as a fountain pen (STD IV to X) an eraser, pencil, sharpener and a scale.
  • No student will be allowed to lend or borrow articles during exams.
  • The Name and Exam number should be written on the question paper immediately after receiving it. Nothing else should be written on the question paper.
  • Fill all the details on the answer book before starting Exam write question numbers correctly with blue ink and draw a line after each answer with pencil and underline the important points with black ink. Do not use red ink for any purpose.
  • Students should tie their answer sheets immediately at the stroke of the bell. Answer sheets should be properly numbered and tied together.
  • If there is a doubt, students should raise their hands and ask the invigilator. They should not clarify any doubts by discussing with their classmates / companions.
  • Students who absent themselves from examination without grave reasons will be considered as failed. No re-examination will be accorded to any absentee from school examination. In well deserving cases, the marks of the year will be taken into account.
  • The principal will be the judge of the merit of each case.
  • A student caught copying or indulging in any other malpractice will not be allowed to sit for the next examination until the principal grants written permission. Such student should bring his/her parents to the principal.
  • After every exam the answer paper should be submitted to their respective class teacher duly checked and signed by the parent.
  • Pupils who absent themselves without taking permission are liable to get suspended from school.
  • Pupils without adequate attendance will be stopped from appearing for the promotion exams.
